The Inventor of the Mobile Ticket

Companies in Europe, Asia and the USA have been using this system for a long time now. This type of Ticket is not a new story either, most companies and developers are using QR code, which is not the most robust code type for mobile ticketing... Fabian Jean-Baptiste is the inventor of the first Mobile Ticket *(invented the concept in 1996 and sent the first mobile ticket using a Nokia 9000 series in 1997 (first mobile to offer batched SMS delivery) before the first commercial SMS gateways were launched, the inventor is also a consultant based in London (UK), who has had a commercial service since 1998...and contacts across the whole industry, you can check out the history of the Mobile Ticket in the Muesum at mobiletickets.co.uk, online check-in, using Data Matrix (Aztec), which is the correct barcode to use for mobile tickets, it is a tried and tested barcode, which is used by all the leading providers in the UK (Home of the most advanced Mobile Ticketing technology) we have been using this code in the UK for all the trials, we are holders of the most in-depth R&D, regarding this service including Hardware (Scanners, Kiosks and POS) and Software (across all platforms, including social networks, desktop provision and there is a version of Mobile Tickets for every type of mobile phone ever created) development in the UK is second to none, with the 4 of the top 10 providers founded here. The founder and COO of Mobile Tickets Ltd/mobiletickets.co.uk, who has crossed paths with all these providers and also has had a hand in R&D for ALL of the current commercial rollouts... here in the UK is the founders and leaders of this form of Ticketing, so look no further than the UK for consultants and expect the most detailed information and usable research to come from here... With all due respect to Asian and the US markets... we at Mobile Tickets Ltd and the Nokia 9000 communicator was the first to send a commercial mobile ticket to the public, this supersedes the early mobile wallet services used in the early i-mode GUI.

Major Events international

I have decided to post up my thoughts on MEI's newly formed Events and Venue Technology Group (EVTG), I attended a meeting of members during the week, I met with some very interesting people and exchanged contacts... MEI is a events marketing brand, providing services like sports infrastructure implementation, bid support and global networking, with EVTG being a technology focused area of the brand

Dennis Mills (CEO) of MEI, was helpful and accommodating and I had a great time, my plan after a previous meeting with Dennis, is to create a home for IMTMI (International Mobile Ticket Members Initiative), which belongs to Mobile Tickets Ltd and also to house our Olympic Inclusion Members within EVTG, we now know that IMTMI will be able to supply EVTG with valuable and interesting information re: the mobile tickets market

We are happy to be part of EVTG and will be utilising our Olypmic Inclusion Members base requesting for them to join EVTG and also IMTMI's information pool, during our engagement with EVTG

I would like to say thank-you to all of the members who attended, plus a special thanks to Dennis, Alf (CTO/CIO), Wei (Business Development Manager/Asia) and Dennis' excellent PA Amy, also not to forget an interesting and in depth 'tech' conversation I had with Julian (Integrated Premises Technology)... all adding up to very worthwhile elements of EVTG, I recommend all companies/brands/individuals from related interested to join: Click here
